What to see and what to do in Lovina.

Lovina Beach
Tourists looking for a quit beach resort can head 6 miles west from Singaraja along the coastal road to Lovina, a long stretch of beach now full with hotels and Bungalows. Lovina is the name a beach in Kalibukbuk village. The location is peaceful and its beach still natural. The black sand beach is safe and a perfect place for swimming and snorkeling.

Dolphin Watching
Lovina also offers dolphin watching at sunrise.

Hot Spring, Banjar
Located 10 km west of Lovina beach, the natural hot spring is surrounded by jungle mostly by bamboos and a well maintain restaurant. Consisting of three different sized pools, the green-yellow sulfur water pour from dragon shaped pipes that varying in temperature and height.

Gitgit Waterfall
It is about nine kilometres from Singaraja towards the south. The waterfall is sixty metres high and as the water falls, it looks like white clouds falling down the mountain one after another. The falling water almost completely covers the rockface of the fall.

Bali Handara Golf, Bedugul
Located at 1142 metres above sea level in Bedugul, the Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club eighteen hole, par 72 championship golf course is listed among the world's fifty greatest. Popular for it's degree of difficulty, the scenery and average temperature of 16-20 degrees Celcius make a pleasent change from the heat of southern Bali.

Diving & Snorkeling
Lovina is the main diving and snorkeling areas in the north of Bali. Slightly further along is Pemuteran and in the western tip of Bali is Labuan Lalang, the kick-off point to Menjangan Island, an uninhabited island with some of the best diving in Bali. Nearly 7000 hectares of coral reef and coastal waters are protected as part of the Bali Barat National Park including Menjangan Island.

Menjangan Island
This little island off Bali's west coast is known for its beautiful coral reefs found nearby and the wealth of tropical fish inhabiting the waters are around it. The island itself including Terima Bay, are by themselves worth a visit because of the beautiful sceneries they offer.

Pemuteran Beach
A secluded, tidy, black-sand, scenic beach leads to some of the island's best snorkeling and diving spots is located 40 km west of Lovina. Several moderate to high price accommodation are available for divers who common visitors to admire reef and corals including the reserve marine ones. Pemuteran is the perfect choice for you who would like to visit Menjangan Island.

Yeh Sanih
Known by the locals as a recreation site since the early 30s, Yeh Sanih offers attraction of natural swimming pool of clear, fresh, cool water beside a shady seaside with black-sand beach.

Bedugul
In the western highlands of Bali is the serene mountain area of Bedugul where vegetables, fruits and flowers thrive in the alpine climate. The colorful little market offers a wide selection of produce including exotic strawberries. Less than an hour of Bangli lies the tranquil crater lake of Mount Batur and the inpressive temple gates of Pura Ulun Danu, one of the two major subak (irrigation society) temples on the island.

Botanical Garden, Bedugul
It is situated at the West of Bedugul. Here people can take a walk through this botanical garden on a small road neatly lined with trees. While taking a walk you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of a garden filled with various kinds of flower, green forest and fresh air. There are glass houses which are used for experimentation and growing of plants such as the orchid.

Art Centre (Denpasar)
The art centre is one of the largest and most complete cultural centre in the archipelago. Designed by Bali's foremost architecture, Ida Bagus Tugur. The vast complex, apart from its very real cultural function, is show place for Balinese temple and palace architecture. The complex includes the open stage Arda Candra, Museum, Balinese pavilions and sprawling, parklands, as well as their art galleries (including one permanent art collection).
