Villa
Agung Beach Inn Lovina Bali
Villa
Agung Beach Inn situated superbly, right on the beachfront, with
panoramic views of the tranquil Java Sea. Ever-changing, breath-taking
sunsets are silhouetted against the island of Java.
Nestled between two sleepy fishing villages on a sheltered bay,
the hotel has sweeping vista of mountains, contrasted with the peace
of the lush rice paddies, at the rear.
The Villa is a haven of tranquility, perfect for a
relaxing family holiday, but also with a romance to delight lovers
or honeymooners alike. Set in a lush courtyard around an intimate
pool, this is a boutique hotel, unique in its warmth and charm.
The staff is welcoming, the food is excellent and the western owners,
Sandy and Gus, who live in the adjoining house, strive for high
standards of hygiene and service, is refreshingly different. You
quickly feel at home.
The restaurant is right on the beach, so you can watch
the laping waves next to you, lulled by soft music, fresh flowers,
wine and candlelight, tempted by great food.
The
courtyard pool is set amongst lush surroundings.
The upstairs lounge, with uninterrupted views all the way to Java,
is to die for!
The little boutique has designer bags and cushion
covers.
The beauty spa offers traditional treatments and soothing
massages.
Perfectly situated to explore the north side of Bali
, noted for its diving and snorkeling and of course our friendly
dolphins. Sandy will help you see the local cultural side of the
surrounding villages and has great suggestions on unusual expeditions.
The staff will welcome you into their homes and to local ceremonies
and performances.
ACCOMMODATION
Has 4 double rooms, plus a family suite consisting of 2 adjoining
rooms and detached, thatched cottage. The rooms are bright and airy
and spotlessly clean. Bedside tables, mirrors, full-sized innerspring
mattresses, fresh cotton sheets, relaxing chairs and good reading
lights are provided. All rooms have mosquito nets and are fan-cooled
or air-conditioned. They have large en suite bathrooms with plenty
of hot water and of course western toilets. Each has a balcony front
and back overlooking the courtyard pool or the rice paddies behind
the hotel. You can see the farmer driving his oxen as he plows the
fields, the green beauty of the rice paddies as they ripen, the
fascination of the rice being cut and beaten and then the busy duck
herds that gobble up the remaining morsels.
Each room has a comprehensive guide to what to see and do around
the local area.
Set in the lush garden courtyard is a free form pool, usually for
lounging around and chatting with other guests whilst sipping on
a cool glass of wine or icy beer.

RESTAURANT
The candlelit restaurant offers both guests and visitors fine dining.
The food is a gastronomic experience, freshly prepared in a spotless
kitchen. The menu is exciting and inspirational, featuring both
international and western food, with lots of vegetarian choices.
Only bottled water is used. We make our own breads, jams, pastas,
yogurts, ice creams and muesli. The menu is varied and specials
change daily. The staff experiment continually with fusion cooking,
blending the Indonesian flavours with western tastes. The delightful
staff are very friendly and cater to your every need. The food is
fresh, tasty, reasonably priced and a joy to behold!
The restaurant is right on the beach with waves lapping beside you.
Lulled by soft music, wine, fresh flowers and candlelight, your
tastes are tempted by great food. Relax and watch the fishermen
slowly moving out to sea for the night's catch. The lamps of the
fishing boats bob on the horizon and shoals of fish leap before
your eyes.
