About Pemuteran

Pemuteran Village is a small village with about 6000 populations that consist of Hindu and moslem. It is about 60 kilometers from Singaraja and 30 kilometer from Gilimanuk. The length of the village is 9 kilometer along with the hills, corals and the sea. Pemuteran is part of the area of Batu Ampar. The interesting thing found in the Village of Pemuteran is the beach where we can swim and snorkling and there is also turtle conservation there.

Pemuteran Dive

Located north of Matahari Beach Resort and a boat ride of about 15 minutes. The submerge reef starts at a depth of 15m and down up to 50m. The reef itself is not very big, it's around 2000 m2. It is full of soft coral, almost 90% coverage at some places. With some good observation skill, you may find Ghost Pipefish, Leaf Fish and several types of beautiful Nudibranch. To dive at this place, divers require to have good buoyancy control to be able to make a safety stop from a drift line / float.
