Bali Nine heroin goes up in smoke despite appeals (The West Australian)

More than 6kg of heroin that members of the Bali Nine intended to smuggle to Australia has gone up in smoke. Prosecutors torched the drug haul today, saying they were well within their rights to destroy the evidence despite ongoing final appeals by several members of the smuggling ring.
